Biography

From 1992 to 1995, Jeff played fullback and linebacker for Hall of Fame Coach Gordon Pilmore, while leading the Pirate’s original charge to back-to-back state titles in 1994 and 1995. As a key block in the foundation of the Dodge Football Dynasty, Jeff was a stand-out player among a collection of stand-outs. He was a powerhouse on both sides of the line of scrimmage and was named All-Cornhusker Conference 4 times, 1st Team All-Area twice, and 1st Team All- State on 2 more occasions. As a senior, he was chosen as the All-State honorary captain, named to the All-Area/All-Class Team, and was also honored as the Class D-1 Defensive Player of the Year. In the summer of 1996, Jeff was also selected to play in the Eight-Man All Star Game. History will remember him for the pivotal role he played on those historic Dodge Football Teams of the mid-1990’s and for also helping cement Nebraska’s famed “Highway 91” as a premier hub for Nebraska Eight Man Football. The NEMFCA is honored to now welcome him into the Hall of Fame Class of 2023.
