Biography
Brian was a stand out player for Coach Vern Aylor at Odell High School from 1974 to 1977. As a senior, he was named 1st Team All-Conference and was also an All-State selection by the Omaha World Herald. In 1978, Brian was selected for the very first Sertoma Eight Man All-Star Game. He was named that game’s Most Valuable Offensive Player, scoring 3 touchdowns that day (18 points) and setting a scoring record that still stands in 2017. Since 1978, The Vitosh family made All-Star week an annual affair as Brian’s two brothers: Brad (1979) and Bruce (1984), and later his son Austin (2015) have all been selected to play in the game. The NEMFCA is honored to welcome him into the Eight Man Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
