Biography

From 2006 to 2009, Clint was the offensive focal point for Hall of Fame Coach Mike Speirs’ powerful Bobcat teams. In his electrifying junior and senior campaigns alone, he led Howells to back-to-back Class D-1 State Titles- running for 2,478 yards and 41 touchdowns as a junior, and adding another 2,647 yards and 53 touchdowns as a senior. During that run, he also set state records for yards, TD’s, and points in a playoff series. In total, Clint ran for 6,626 yards and 107 touchdowns in his career and was honored multiple times including: 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-State, and Class D-1 Offensive Player of the Year. He was also selected to the All-Class/All- Nebraska Football Team in both the Omaha World Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star and later named to Huskerland Prep Report’s All-Decade Team. In the summer of 2010, Clint was also selected to play in both the Eight Man All-Star Game and the Nebraska Shrine Bowl. After high school, he went on to continue his football career at Augustana University in South Dakota. He is most proud of the part he played in the Howells Football tradition and working alongside outstanding teammates and coaches to build what many consider the premier Eight-Man Football Dynasty of the 2000’s. The NEMFCA is honored to welcome him into the Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
