Mike coached Eight Man football for 35 seasons and spent his entire career at Mullen High School. His coaching record was 252 wins and 90 losses while winning State Championships in 1990, 1998, and 2003. He added a state runner-up finish in 2004 while also coaching his teams to 21 state playoff appearances. Over the years, Coach Brown has had 28 of his players play in the All-Star Game. He served as assistant coach of the West All-Stars in 1991 and as Head Coach in 1998. Mike was also the Head Coach of the 2005 Nebraska vs. Oklahoma All-Star Game. The NEMFCA is honored to welcome him into the Eight Man Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
