Biography

From 1981-1985, Lynn was an out-standing 2 sport athlete in both Football and Track. In 1983, he made the most of his High School’s one and only football playoff appearance by leading Marquette to an undefeated season and the 1983 Class D-2 State Title. That year, he was a part of the state’s most prolific backfield (with the rare combination of 3 separate 1,000 yard rushers). He was twice named 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-State while becoming a 3-time 1,000 yard rusher and compiling over 4,500 career yards. In his senior year, Lynn also set a Class D state record in the 400 meter dash and was chosen as the Grand Island Independent Male Athlete of the Year. He was then selected to play in the 1985 Eight-Man All Star Game, where he was named that game’s Most-Valuable Offensive Player. The NEMFCA is honored to welcome him into the Eight Man Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
