Biography
From 1984 to 1987, Scott re-wrote the eight-man football record books. During his time in high school, he set the state career rushing record at the time with 5,632 total yards. As a sophomore and junior at Coleridge, he helped lead his team to two consecutive state runner-up finishes. Then, his proudest moment as a player came during his senior year, when he led the Bulldogs to an undefeated season and the 1987 Class D2 State Title. Scott compiled 2,462 rushing yards during that championship season and was selected to play in both the Eight-Man All Star Game and the Nebraska Shrine Bowl. Throughout his career, he was named 1st Team All-Conference three times and selected 1st Team All-State on 2 occasisions. In 1988, Scott walked- on for the University of Nebraska football team. The NEMFCA is honored to welcome him into the Eight Man Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
