Biography
From 1986 to 1989, Terry had a standout eight-man football career. He was selected to the All-Conference football team 3-times while also playing a major role in leading the Longhorns to the 1988 state-playoffs. In his senior season, he was named to the Class D2 1st Team as well as the All-Class/All- State football team. Terry played in the 1990 8-Man All-Star game and was chosen as the Most-Valuable Defensive Player on the game. He went on to a decorated career with the University of Nebraska from 1990 to 1994. He was honored as a 3-time Academic All-Conference, a 2-time Academic All- American, and also selected to the 1993 All-Big 8 team. In 1994, Terry served as co-captain during the Cornhuskers undefeated National Championship season as a key member of the famed “Blackshirt” defense. He went on to play with the National Football League’s New York Jets and Green Bay Packers. The NEMFCA is honored to welcome him into the Eight Man Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
